Science: Gravity+Physics=Thrills??

I am a Thrill Seeker, I'm certainly no math genius, Nor do I claim to understand the laws of physics much at all, I would love to give this a try, However, I'm not sure if I'd be able to trust my friends to get the calculations exactly correct. Living for and working in Emergency Medical Services, I've seen plenty of stupid acts and responded to several serious falls. Were it not for 100% Pure calculations in this example here, This guy would have been seriously hurt!
